North Carolina - Tuesday August 6th, 7:30 ET

This event has already occurred.

However, you may still donate: here.

We will again be supporting All In for North Carolina (AINC) for our August event.

4 Million Doors: Let’s Go All In for North Carolina One More Time!

For more information, visit All In for North Carolina's website.  You can also find volunteer opportunities recommended by All In for North Carolina  here.

On August 6 at 7:30 PM EDT, we will join AINC in sponsoring a zoom meeting with the executive directors of four community organizations:

working on the ground in North Carolina to ensure a Biden/Harris victory in November and Democratic wins up and down the ballot.

We will hear about the detailed Get Out the Vote plans of each of these impressive organizing groups. Together, they will be spearheading the joint effort to canvass 4 million homes of people who need to be persuaded to vote for Democrats.

Funds raised will support Carolina Federation and Down Home North Carolina – the two largest multiracial community organizations in the state, active in some of the largest cities and counties (Carolina Federation) and in rural/small towns (Down Home). We also will be raising funds for Siembra NC and NC Asian Americans Together – pre-eminent NC organizations that focus on key voter constituencies, Latine and Asian American (AAPI).

The  Zoom meeting will feature North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein, running for governor against MAGA Mark Robinson.

Winning NC requires getting many more votes in Mecklenburg County, where AINC has focused its work throughout this election cycle. One quarter of the closest state legislative races are in this area. Turning out these voters means wins for these critical down-ballot races, the Biden/Harris campaign, and Josh Stein.

Here’s a Biden/Harris campaign staffer telling us about how essential this grassroots organizing is to ensure victory in North Carolina:

All four groups that we will be supporting have made significant investments in critical regions of Mecklenburg County and adjacent Cabarrus County (the greater Charlotte area). Both Siembra NC and NC Asian-Americans Together are opening long-term offices in Charlotte this summer. Hear more about these efforts from Kelly Morales, co-Executive Director, Siembra NC, in this short video:

You can become an individual sponsor for a  minimum donation of $500.
